Anointing of the Sick was administered by Father Ernest and Father Gary.
Sharon was born on August 20th, 1942 in Rochester, NY but raised in Avon NY.
She was the daughter of the late, John and Mary McAllister Driscoll, but was raised by a great Aunt, Louise Driscoll ( Aunt Bea).
She was predeceased by her brothers, Mike and Bill Driscoll. She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Glose and 2 sons; James and Deborah Glose, Jonathan and Jennifer Blaylock Glose, grandchildren; Terah, Tiffany and her 3 sons Quentin, Ryder and Tyson of Chemung, NY, and Andrew and Madison Glose of Charlotte, NC.
Also surviving is her sister, Judy (A.J.) Stephany, Patrick (Ann) Driscoll, Daniel (Sandy) Driscoll, Jesse (Elaine) Driscoll. As well as many nieces and nephews; especially her 2 favorite nieces, Heidi Stephany and Shelly Read.
Sharon graduated from St. Agnes Grammar school in Avon, NY and Nazareth College in Rochester, NY. She taught school at St. Agnes in Avon, NY, St James School in Waverly, NY, and Epiphany School in Sayre, PA. She held many other positions as a Manager of a group home in Sayre, PA and others.
In 1979, Jim’s company (IBM) transferred her family to Charlotte, NC. She is a member of St. Luke Catholic Church.
A mass of christian burial will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 11:00 AM at St. Luke Catholic Church, 9800 Fairview Road, Mint Hill, North Carolina 28227.
