Sylvia Jordan, 82, of Charlotte passed away peacefully January 11, 2016. Born in Charlotte, NC, she was the daughter of the late John and Alice McMahon. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church for many years and had a strong relationship with her Lord and Savior.
Sylvia loved gardening, knitting, cross stitch and reading. Her greatest joy came when she was spending time with her family. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Dona M. Hilton.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jack Jordan and daughter Sharon Jordan. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to offer a special thank you to Thyia and all of the Wilora Lake Healthcare Center staff for their wonderful care of Sylvia.
A graveside service will be held Thursday, January 14, 2015 at 3:00 p.m. in Sunset Memory Gardens in Mint Hill.
