Willie "Kay" Hildreth

Willie was born in Kershaw, SC, daughter of the late Henry T. and Harriett Catoe. She had lived in Charlotte most of her life and retired from Southern Bell after 30 years of service. She was an active member of Cokesbury United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir and attended the UMW Sarah Circle. Willie was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Hildreth.

Survivors include her daughter, Jonnie Hildreth of Matthews; a brother, Lee Catoe of Columbia, SC; special friends, Sylvia Price and Lisa Honeycutt; and a host of nieces and nephews that were very important to her.

The family will gather at Cokesbury United Methodist Church to receive friends beginning at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 1, 2013. Funeral services will begin at 3 p.m. with the Rev. Sarah Kalish officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Cokesbury United Methodist Church, 6701 Idlewild Rd., Charlotte, NC 28212 in memory of Kay Hildreth.
