Preceded in death by her son Eli Keown who tragically died with her in the automobile accident on Saturday, April 30, 2011.
Survived by son, Shane Scott; mother, Kim Pekala; father John Pekala and step mother, Karen Pekala; brother, John Thomas Pekala; step sisters Alicia Legere and Heather Bradford; aunt, Geraldine Charton; grandparents, Thomas and Sue Shook.
Funeral services will be held on Friday at 3 PM at Greenwood Baptist Church with Pastor Toby Brogden, Pastor David Bragg and Pastor Brent Baughman officiating. Interment will be in Tyner Cemetery.
