

She was born in Chattanooga on July 22, 1936 to Elmer H. Hyde and Wilma Curtis Hyde. She worked at the Hamilton County Courthouse for many years as administrative assistant to Judge Sam Payne and the late Judge Ted Milburn. She later worked for Judge Mickey Barker, whom she followed to the Tennessee Court of Criminal Appeals and the Tennessee Supreme Court, from which she retired.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a son, Jack Edwards Osborne, Jr., all of Chattanooga. Left to cherish her memory are her daughter Jennifer (Ken) Flynn of Chattanooga; son, David (Debbie) Osborne of Cleveland, TN; brother Curtis (Jean) Hyde of Ooltewah; grandchildren Chris (Terue) Kizziah of Ooltewah; Heather Kizziah of Taos, NM; Andrew (Alicia) Osborne of Dalton, GA; Kristi (Chuck) Garwood of Miami, FL; Patrick (Taylor) Flynn of Chattanooga; Michael Flynn of Chattanooga; special extended family Mike Driggans and Debbie Perrin of Chattanooga; several great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
