Brian J. Hunt, 85, of Ooltewah, Tennessee died Sunday, November 25, 2012. He was born December 12, 1926 in Berkshire, England. He was a Royal Navy Veteran serving during World War II saving thousands of lives during his service. Mr. Hunt was a fire officer with 30 years of service. His passing leaves a great space that cannot be filled. He will never be forgotten.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years Anita Hunt; son John (Sue) Hunt; daughter Nicola (Frank) Halper; two granddaughters Lisa and Emma; great grandchildren Corbin, Brandon, Jayden and Joseph.
Memorial services will be 4:00 Wednesday November 28, 2012 in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Chaplain Frank Halper officiating.
The family will receive friends from 3:30 – 4:00 Wednesday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hunt’s family would like to especially thank Rocky and Christy Kilgore and the Picot family for all their help and support during this difficult time.
