Carolyn Black Willoughby, 59, of Harrison, TN, went home to be with the Lord unexpectedly Saturday, March 31, 2012. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and sister-in-law. Carol was also a giving and caring person and will be missed by all that knew her. She was the daughter of the late Millard and Lavader Wells Black and was also preceded in death by a sister Alice Huneycutt. She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Willoughby; daughter, Christie (James) Holt; son, Michael (Susie) Willoughby; two granddaughters who were the light of her life, Briley Welch and Jaycee Holt all of Harrison; step-granddaughter, Tiffany Kilgore, Decatur, TN; four sisters, Ruth Anderson, Calhoun, GA, Patty McGee, Ft. Payne, AL, Mary (Clinton) Henderson, Ft. Payne, AL and Wanda (Jerry) Callahan, East Ridge, TN; four brothers, Harold (Lonnie) Black, Calhoun, GA, Wilburn (Katherine) Black, Center, AL, Winston (Sue) Black, Sugar Valley, GA and Jimmy Black, Ft. Payne, AL; brother-in-law, Gene Huneycutt, Oakboro, NC; several nieces and nephews and other relatives. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Josh Cornelious officiating. Interment will be in the Holder Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
