He graduated from Chattanooga Central High School and became a United States Marine.
Curtis was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Lowe and four sisters, Debbi Sawyer, Cindy Bonner, Cathy Elmore, and Carol Collins.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Anne Lowe; three children, Matthew Thomas Lowe, Derek Walter Lowe, and Valeri Elizabeth Ball and his mother, Laverne Vaughn.
Jesus said, "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die..." John 11:25-26
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
The funeral will be a private ceremony with only close family members present.
