He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and sister and niece.
He is survived by Faye, his wife of 29 years, and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gann was a member of Silverdale Baptist Church since 1976 and was a deacon, choir member, was involved with the Prime Timers and was active in the Greg Bolton Sunday School Class. He was a US Army veteran, serving in Korea.
He loved people and was a very caring person. He enjoyed baking and gardening.
The family will receive friends from 4-7 Tuesday, October 1 at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 12:00 Wednesday at the Valley View Chapel. Interment will follow in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
