

Grace Virginia Hall of Fairfield Glade, TN, went home to be with our Lord on March 7, 2016 at Life Care Center of Collegedale, TN. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vance Edward Hall, whom she married July 14, 1945.
Grace was born April 22, 1925 in Wilmington, DE, the daughter of William A. Hushebeck and Elizabeth W. Hushebeck.
Grace was a dedicated mother, loving grandmother, and cherished great-grandmother who loved Jesus and his church. Our family will greatly miss our Mimi. Her legacy, life, and spirit will live on in all of us.
After retiring as a secretary with DuPont in Wilmington, she and Vance became longtime residents at Fairfield Glade. Recently, she resided at Good Samaritan Society.
As a longtime member of Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church, Grace was active in Ladies Club, Susanna Wesley Circle, and Sunday School Class. Other interests and hobbies included: FFG Resident Homeowners, golf, bridge, reading, and embroidery.
A memorial service will be held at Fairfield Glade United Methodist Church, 231 Westchester Dr., Crossville, TN 38558 on Saturday, March 19th at 2:00 p.m. CST.
Grace was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Vance Hall; and, sister, Irma Hushebeck. She is survived by her daughters: Kathy (Rich) Humbert; Shirley (Phil) Jones; Nancy (Don) Adkins; and Debby (John) Gardner. Grandchildren: Chad (Emily) Humbert; Justin (Rose) Humbert; Nathan (Poh-Lin) Jones; Susan (Adam) Paa; Kelly (John) Ospina; Wes (Katie) Rozzell; Tyler Adkins; Kristin (Brett) Parish; Todd (Aimee) Gardner; and Lindsey (Andy) Walden; and five great -grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to FFG United Methodist Church, Bread of Life Rescue Mission, or your charity of choice.
Arrangements are by the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway, Chattanooga.
