James “Jimmy” Snyder, 56, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Friday, February 27, 2015. A lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area, he was a charter member and Minister of the Primitive Church of God and was retired from Miller Industries. He was the son of the late Lebron and Dorothy Reno Snyder. Survivors include his wife, Brenda Snyder; two step-children, Anthony Nelson and Tonya Hartley; four grandchildren, Landri Nelson, Jake Nelson, Jaxon Hartley and Sarah Hartley; two sisters, Kathy Snyder and Vickie Brogdon; brother, Ray Snyder. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Charles Williams, Rev. Clint Ledford and Rev. Sonny Ledford officiating. Interment will be in the New McDonald Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-8 p.m. Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway
