Mr. Davis was born and raised in Birchwood. He was a graduate of Birchwood High School and a member of Birchwood Baptist Church. Joe had formerly worked as a driver for Holsom Bakery, and retired as an owner/operator in the trucking industry.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Gail Davis; daughter, Deborah K. Davis; and parents, Frank and Ina Davis.
Surviving are his sons, Keith (Sherdia) Davis, Randy Davis, and Phillip (Angie) Davis; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
There will not be any visitation at the funeral home.
Graveside Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, December 1st at Old McDonald Cemetery with Rev. Randy Thomas officiating.
