Jonathan graduated as an architect from Savannah College of Art and Design where he also competed on their swim team. He was very active as a triathlon competitor and worked as a fitness instructor in the Savannah area. He also worked part-time as a waiter for Lady & Sons Restaurant.
He was a member of Duncan Park Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, H. E. Cornelius and uncle, Steven Cornelius.
Survivors include his parents, Barry and Mary Ketterer, of Chattanooga, TN, two sisters, Rebecca (Hudson) Ellis, of Ooltewah, TN, Lizzy (Brandon) Whited, of Chattanooga, TN, two nieces, Madelaine Ellis, Claire Ellis, two grandmothers, Madelaine Cornelius Box, of Chattanooga, TN, and Rita Guerra, of Smyrna, TN.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 3rd at the Chattanooga Funeral Home, Valley View Chapel.
