Kenny was born in Gadsden, Alabama and raised in Franklin, TN where he graduated from Franklin High School. He was an avid fisherman and was a former member of the Soddy Daisy Outcasters. Kenny was also a huge fan of UT Knoxville. Kenny was employed as a truckdriver with multiple companies, a US Marine veteran and a member of the former First Baptist Church of Franklin.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Bess Leath and paternal grandparents; Dr. Philip Adams (DO) and Orpha Adams.
Survivors include his daughter, Jennifer (Dustin) Bales and their children, Gavin and Callie; son, Christopher Brenner and his daughter, Faith; parents, Philip and Ellyn Adams; sisters, Leann (Kenneth) Watts, Kerry Adams Daughtrey and Sarah Gerber; maternal grandfather, Gus (Emily) Gibson; aunt, Melodee Boyde; nephews, Austin, Lee, Jacob, Matthew, Hunter, Nicholas and Ethan; niece, Katie and a host of uncles, aunts and other cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be at 3 PM (Eastern Time) on Saturday, March 9th in the Ridgedale Room at Ridgedale Baptist Church (1831 Hickory Valley Rd, Chattanooga, TN 37421) with Rev. Tommy Campbell officiating. Visitation will be prior to the service from 1 to 3 PM (Eastern Time) at the church.
