She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Sofield, Jr., parents, Roy and Dwella Pardy, and sister, Beverly Barnes.
Lois retired from New Jersey Bell.
She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.
Survivors include her four sons, Bob Jones, of Smyrna, DE, Roy Sofield, of Chattanooga, TN, Tom Sofield, of Orlando, FL, David Sofield, of Rossville, GA, daughter, Loriann Cheeseman, of Dover, DE, two step-daughters, Donna Phillips, of New Port Richey, FL, Karen Jones, of Smyrna, DE, twenty two grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 10, 2012, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Summers and Dr. Steve Euler officiating. Interment will be in Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge, NJ.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Academy.
