Margaret leaves a legacy of love and a bright smile that will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew her. She was a beloved and devoted wife to her husband, John Randall ‘Randy’ Frazier, bonus mom to his sons Shane and Ryan, and grandmother to their children, who affectionately knew her as ‘Gy.’ She was also a wonderful daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and dear friend to many.
Margaret was born in 1954 to parents Donald R. and Betty B. Beckler. She was preceded in death by both parents, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is survived by her brother; Roger Beckler (Marie), sister; Jane Beckler Bird (Donnie), husband; Randy; children; Shane (Arynne) and Ryan (Natalia), and grandchildren Ty, Brooks, Gia, Carla, and Stella. She is also survived by nephews; Michael Beckler (Melissa) and Stephen Beckler (Amy); and great-nieces; Dakota, Allee, and Joy Beckler.
Margaret’s career as an executive administrative assistant spanned more than 45 years, with more than 20 years at Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation as executive assistant to the president and CEO for many years and to other executives of the hospital. She took immense pride in her profession and was a longtime member, serving in leadership roles for professional organizations, including Office Professionals of Tennessee and IAAP.
Margaret grew up attending Ridgedale Baptist Church with her family where she established lifelong faith and friendships. She was a member of Eastwood Church in Ooltewah since 1997, where she served as a Servant Leader, and cherished her ladies’ class and her small group family. Margaret also taught a Sunday school class for preschoolers, sharing her love for learning and faith with young hearts.
Margaret truly had a servant’s heart. She always served others with a smile, sensing what was needed and stepping up to help. Her family was everything and she loved spending time together, especially weekends with her grandchildren.
Her family included dear friends, and she made time for them with visits and memorable road trips. Margaret was a dedicated fan of her kids and grandkids’ sports teams, as well as the Tennessee Volunteers, Lady Vols, and Atlanta Braves.
