Margie Poole Parker, 88, of Chattanooga, TN passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013. Born on June 20, 1925, she was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and had worked for Olan Mills Studio and retired from DuPont. She also worked at Family Dollar Store and ABC Cleaners in East Brainerd for many years and was a member of the Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall. She was the wife of the late Jack E. Parker and was also preceded in death by brothers Walter, Wayne, Ernest and L.D. Poole. She is survived by her daughter, Robin Parker and her sister, Helen Lillard. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the Valley View Chapel with Brother John Guinn officiating. Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
