Mrs. Smith was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. She attended GraceWorks Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward Higgins and Margaret Pierce.
Surviving are her children, Mike Eaves of Chattanooga; Nancy (Phil) Pierce of Cookeville, and Lisa Eaves of Chattanooga; grandchildren, Michele Eaves Griswold of Chattanooga and her son, Caleb Griswold; Atira Eaves of Chattanooga; Chase Eaves of Chattanooga; Phillip Pierce of Nashville; Rebecca (Adam) Jones of Cookeville; Jimmy Pierce of Nashville; Emily Ellis Foster and her children, Kyla and Launa Foster of Chattanooga; Sheena (Brandon) Lofty and children, Cloey and Keeton Lofty of Chattanooga; and special fury love, Tasha.
The family will receive friends from 10 AM to 1 PM on Wednesday, November 19, 2014 at the funeral home.
Funeral Services will follow at 1 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jimmy Goddard officiating.
A private burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
