She was born and raised in Chattanooga to the late James and Florence Evitt.
Norma worked her entire life in the finance industry. Norma, affectionately known as Memaw, loved her family and enjoyed her friends at Standifer Place.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Harold and David Evitt and her sister Pat Harrington.
Norma is survived by her two children, Lebron (Christie) Johnson and Tammi (Carlis) Rhinehart; three grandchildren, Brittany (Grady Szakacs), Colston Johnson and Claire Johnson; three great-grandchildren; her brothers, Rick and Steve; her sister, Sue; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 9-11am on Wednesday, March 20th at Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Pallbearers are Lebron Johnson, Colston Johnson, Carlis Rhinehart, Grady Szakacs, Brian Teague and Ronnie Sexton.
A private family burial will follow the visitation at Tyner Cemetery.
