Rebecca Lynn Roberson

Rebecca Lynn Roberson, 66, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on March 29, 2026. Born December 30, 1959, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, Rebecca was beloved, devoted, and honest, and will be remembered with deep respect and lasting affection. She enjoyed being Nana more than anything.

Rebecca’s life was grounded in her Baptist faith, which helped shape the steady presence she was to those who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, BJ Hughes (Stephanie); grandchildren, James Hughes and Eleanor Hughes her brother, William Ralph Roberson, Jr. ; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William Ralph Roberson, Sr., and Helen Ruth Lowe Roberson; brothers, Franklin Ray Roberson and Michael David Roberson; and sisters, Glenda Kay Wooden and Carol Jean Gray.

Visitation will be held at Chattanooga Funeral Home Valley View Chapel on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at 3 in the chapel. Interment will follow in Plowman Cemetery.
