Ronald C. Wilson, 68, of Ooltewah, TN, passed away Friday, February 28, 2014. A resident of the Ooltewah area for the past 42 years, he was a member of the Cross Roads Baptist Church and was retired from McKee Foods Corporation. He was also a member of the Harrison Masonic Lodge #114 F&AM. He was the son of the late Elden and Thelma Wilson. He was also preceded in death by a daughter Beth Wilson. Survivors include his wife Phyllis Wilson; son, Rex (Angel) Wilson, Harrison; daughter, Tambry (Greg) Wilson, Harrison; six grandchildren, Collin, Lily, Sarah and Kylie, Andrew and Ashby; sister, Diane Hodges, Cleveland, TN and one brother, Terry Wilson of Columbia, SC. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in the Valley View Chapel with the Rev. Larry Williams officiating. Interment will be in Ooltewah Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Chattanooga at hospiceofchattanooga.org. The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 7414 Old Lee Highway.
