Shirley E. Adams, 80 of Harrison, passed away peacefully at her home on November 29, 2014 and is now with our Heavenly Father. Shirley was born on October 17, 1934, the daughter of the late Galen and Elizabeth Butler Lehman. She was a homemaker, a Christian by faith. Shirley enjoyed reading and loved cats.
Shirley was preceded in death by brothers, JR Lehman, and Claude Lehman.
Shirley is survived by her beloved husband of 63 years, Kenneth M. Adams, son, David Adams, daughters, Deborah Goulart, Faye Leppla, Brenda Branch, sisters, Geraldine Holland, Priscilla Lehman, Judy Hodges and nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, December 2 at the Valley View Chapel Chattanooga Funeral Home.
Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, December 3, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
