Tanya was a member of the Collegedale Community SDA Church. She retired from Hillsborough County Tax Collector’s Office in Sun City Center, Florida. Tanya loved her family. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and she will be missed greatly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, George and Norma Heifner.
Survivors include her husband, Rod Dunkel of Ooltewah, Tennessee, children, Heather (Jerry) Rice of Maitland, Florida, Eric (Emily) Dunkel of Calhoun Georgia, Jason (Katelyn) of New Port Richey, Florida, Morgan (Jason) Blackbourn of St. Petersburg, Florida and Andrea (Mike) Lukowski of Redlands, California, 13 grandchildren, siblings, Steve (Amy) Heifner of Marietta, Georgia and Carol (David) Floyd of Ooltewah, Tennessee and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Collegedale Community SDA Church, 9305 Four Corners Place, Collegedale, Tennessee 37315 with Pastor Jerry Arnold officiating.
