She was the daughter of the late George and Lora Nunnelly and was preceded in death by her three sisters, Irene Orrell, Dorothy Pasik and Delilah Ollila.
She was of the Baptist faith.
Virginia began working as an accountant/bookkeeper and later became a small business owner before retiring.
Survivors include her sons, Mike Williamson, of Chattanooga, TN., Tommy Williamson, of Madison, MS., grandchildren, Benjamin Williamson, Caroline Williamson, Alexander Williamson, and a niece.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2010, at the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Chaplain Keith Mumford officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home.
