

Janice was born September 1, 1948 to parents Lori and George Conjolis. Janice was an only child born a raised in Chicago. She attended Austin High School on the near westside of Chicago where she received her high school diploma. She also attended Loop College where her studied were put on hold due to her mom's declining health.
Janice later married Gerald Grant. They were happily married for 30 years. To this union their only child Mark Grant was born.
Janice was employed by Ameritech of Illinois. Then Illinois Bell. Later she was employed bt AT@T to which she retired after 30 years of service.
Janice is preceded in death by her parents Lori and George and her beloved husband Gerald Grant.
Janice enjoyed watching her western tv programs and game shows. Janice was very savvy and up to date on her knowledge of politics and financial acumens.
Janice has been ill for the past few years, however she remained a lively and upbeat person. Janice was called home to be with our Lord and Savior on January 30, 2026.
She leaves to mourn her, her son Mark, whom she loved dearly. A niece and nephew in Wisconsin and a host of friends and family.
From Mark: " Mom, I love you. I'm going to miss you. Hopefully you and dad are together dancing in the sky. I hate to see you go. You were my rock and I will never forget you. I already miss our dinners and talks about sports and just being together."
Visitation for Janice will be on Thursday, February 12, 2026, from 4:00 PM. to 8:00 PM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638. Visitation will be on Friday, February 13, 2026, from 8:30 AM. to 9:30 AM., with prayer service starting at 9:30 AM., at Ridge Funeral Home, 6620 West Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60638.
