Kevin T. Sedevic

Kevin was born on August 15, 1985, in Oak Lawn, Illinois, to Suzanne (Sliwa) Sedevic and the late Richard Sedevic Sr. When he was seven, the family moved to Adams County, where Kevin later graduated from Adams-Friendship High School. After graduation, he moved to Burbank, Illinois, and began building a career in the trades, working professionally in electrical work, welding, robotics, and automotive technology.

On September 15, 2006, Kevin married Kristine Dathe in Orland Hills, Illinois. Together, they were blessed with two beautiful daughters, Savannah Marie and Emmalyn Rose, who were the light of his life.

Kevin had a big heart and a natural talent for fixing just about anything. He loved to tinker, offer a helping hand, and spend time outdoors—especially fishing with his girls. He also enjoyed classic cars and watching sunsets.

Kevin is survived by his daughters, Savannah Marie and Emmalyn Rose; their mother, Kristine; his mother, Suzanne; and his siblings: Richard Jr. (Lindsay), Michael (Jennifer), Amanda, Robert (Christine), and Kenny (Samantha). He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Sr.; his father-in-law, John Dathe; and his grandparents, Frank and Susan Sliwa.

Memorials may be directed in Kevin’s memory to his children.
