Mary Luszczki

Mary Luszczki, age 99, of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Monday, August 11th, 2025. Just shy of her landmark 100th birthday, Mary was born on August 30th, 1925. She was born one of five children, to the late Stanislaw and Francis Grzyb in Poland.

Mary will be remembered by her beloved daughters, Dianne, Janet and Judy, her adored grandsons, Anthony Acceturra and Hunter Nielsen, and her cherished brothers, Jozef, Roman and Wladyslaw Grzyb.

Mary joins her husband, Chester, daughter, Beverly, and sister, Zofia Grzyb in passing.

Mary was a wonderful mother, grandmother, and friend who's greatest joy was caring for her children and grandchildren. She loved to cook and provide meals for her friends and family. She also loved the outdoors and taking care of her garden. She enjoyed being outside and being active which kept her young. There was nothing she loved more than her grandchildren and spending time with them. She will be deeply missed on her upcoming birthday and all the years to come.

Visitation for Mary will be on Saturday, August 16th, 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at St. Daniel the Prophet Church, 6612 W 54th St, Chicago, IL 60638. Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 AM following the visitation. Committal Service at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery & Mausoleums, 7201 Archer Road, Justice, IL 60458.
