Sandra Joy Zeller

Sandra Joy Zeller, age 78 passed away April 11, 2020 in Chicago, Illinois. Loving mother of Kathlyn Long of Harrimen, Tennessee, Christine Zeller (Douglas Adkinson) of DeKalb, Illinois and SherriLynn (John) Smith of Chicago, Illinois. Adored Grandma of 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law of Diane Anderson and aunt of 1 niece and 1 nephew. Sandy was predeceased by her parents, Roy and Clara Anderson, her brother Edward Anderson, sister Vernell Garrett and her daughter Corene Gray.

Sandy was born in Chicago, IL on November 18, 1941. She graduated from Senn High School in Chicago in 1960. Her larger than life personality touched many lives', including family, life-long friends, co-workers and her Senior Citizen community. Sandy retired from DuPage County Municipality. Her hobbies and interests included nature hiking, swimming, bird watching, and especially her animals. She enjoyed time with her grandchildren, helping with Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts, school and sports functions, Bingo, shopping and dancing.

Sandy's Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at a later date. Donations to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation/Research would be greatly appreciated by the family.
