A J Wilson

Mr. AJ Wilson, 76 years old, of Chula Vista, California, passed away on February 10, 2017. He was born in Detroit,Texas on May 17, 1940. He graduated from High School and left home to join the U. S. Navy. which became his lifelong career.

He married the love of his life, Nancy, on September 18, 1987. They were blessed with 29 years of marriage. In his free time, AJ enjoyed holding bar-b-ques for family and friends alike. For relaxation, he liked to watch football and baseball games with his favorite pet, Princess, by his side. He also loved to read and play the Lotto.

AJ is survived by his wife, Nancy, his 4 children; Tonya, Tony, Manny and Chris. His legacy includes his 4 grandchildren; Ricky, Amanda, Andrew and Kirsten.

His celebration of life and visitation service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910 on Wednesday, March 1, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at St. Rose Catholic Church in Chula Vista on Thursday, March 2, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Miramar National Cemetery with military honors to honor his service.
