Alejandra L Gomez

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Alejandra Liwanag Gomez, aged 98, on December 25, 2024, at Kaiser Permanente Zion Medical Center. Alejandra was born on February 13, 1926, in San Juan, Mexico, Pampanga, and lived a life filled with love and compassion. Married at the age of 16, she dedicated her life to being a housewife and homemaker on a small farm in San Vicente, Mexico. In September 1985, she immigrated to the United States, where she lovingly cared for her grandchildren while their parents worked.

Alejandra enjoyed playing forty-one, selling egg rolls to hospital staff, cooking, gardening, watching Filipino TV, and cleaning. She was frequently visited by her family and was known for being loving, caring, quiet, funny, and, at times, fierce.

Alejandra Gomez was preceded in death by Alfredo Quison Gomez, Ligaya Gomez, and Renante Gomez. She is survived by her 9 daughters and 1 son.

A funeral mass will be held on January 9 at 10:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Parish, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. at Glen Abbey Mortuary. Viewing services will take place on January 8 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel.
