Alexandra “Lexie” Rudolph, 39, died peacefully in her home in Chula Vista Sunday after a long illness. A graduate of Saguaro High School in Scottsdale and the University of Arizona, she received her master’s degree in clinical embryology in 2008 from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She practiced as an embryologist in La Jolla, CA. In 2001, she married Emil Rudolph, of Tucson, who she met at the U of A. She enjoyed sketching, dancing, international travel, and time with family and life-long friends. Lexie was well known for a cheerful, warm and genuine spirit. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Tristan, 8, and Emma, 5; mother, Beatrice B. White; father, George R. White; brother, Ray White, and sister, Vicka White. Funeral services will be 10:00 am June 18, 2011, at the Glen Abbey in Chula Vista/Bonita. Donations in Lexie's honor may be made to Planned Parenthood and the Salvation Army.
