Armida Flores, a long time resident of Chula Vista, CA passed away at her home with her family by her side on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the age 89 years. She is survived by her children , daughters and son-in-laws Marta Spencer (Ed), Margarita Montes (Tony), Teresa Flores(Keith), grand children Cristina, Michael, Marissa, Monica, great grandchildren Zeek, Nico, Mia, Santo, sisters Consuelo Zuniga, Josephine McMahan, brothers Hector Medina, Bob Medina. Preceeded in death by her Husband Mr Flores, sisters Beatrice Snow, Oscar & Manuel Medina.
Armida was born on November 20, 1924, in Mexicali, to Alfredo Medina and Dolores Velasco. Armida was a very hard worker all her life and spend over 17 years working at St. Rose of Lima church.
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at 9:00am at St Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Armida will be laid to rest next to her husband at Holy Cross Cemetery.
