Carlos Leon Valantine

Carlos Valantine was born August 3, 1936, in Beaver Utah to George Urban Valantine and Vina Agnes Jones. He is survived by his brother Virgil Valantine (Edna), sister Peggy Rowe (Tommy), son Ronald Valantine, daughter Sylvia Rutherford, daughter Barbara Valantine, 5 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

He graduated in 1955 and was drafted into the army. His first duty station was Aschaffenburg Germany where he met his first and only wife. He was married on March 1 1958. In the early 60's Carlos Valantine and family moved to San Diego County. First place was in Lemon Grove. Second place was downtown San Diego around 1962 . Lastly' moved to Chula Vista and stayed. After 64 years of happy marriage, mom passed away. She was the love of his life. He missed her dearly. He would look at the pictures of them at his Bedside for hours.

A visitation for Carlos will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, November 22, 2023 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Chula Vista.

Carlos will be laid to rest in Mountain View Cemetery, Beaver, UT.
