Carrie M Spinelli, age 101, of Bonita, California passed away on Wednesday, September 29, 2021, peacefully at her home. Carrie was born in Winder, Georgia on May 10, 1920. She went to school through the 6th grade when she was required to work in the hosiery mill during the Great Depression.
Carrie married Marco P. Spinelli on November 29, 1942. For the next 28 years, she moved around the country with husband Mike, who was a United States Naval Pilot. When Mike retired from the Navy, in 1970, they bought their forever home in Bonita, Ca. and lived there the rest of their lives.
She had many passions, however her top two were gardening and caring for her Grandchildren.
Carrie is survived by her 3 sons, Marc, Steve and Bill. 6 Grandchildren, Shanon, Chase, Whitney, Melissa, KC and Domenick. Along with her 5 Great Grandchildren, Alyssa, Kjirsten, Celia Joy, Aviana and Thea Quinn.
Carrie was the last of her 7 sisters. While she is no longer physically here, she is always with us and her legacy lives on forever.
