Catherine Dunn Hansen, 94 years of age, of Poway, California, passed away on February 9, 2014. She was born in Pennsylvania on July 12, 1919 to parents Allen and Edith Dunn. Catherine graduated from high school in 1935. On November 25, 1953 she married Palle Gellert Hansen. Their union lasted sixty years and their legacy includes a daughter, Christine Kautz and son, Eric Hansen.
Catherine enjoyed her role as a homemaker and as a member of the San Diego Symphonic Choral. Her passion for bridge and playing the organ were her favorite hobbies.
Her beloved husband Palle predeceased her on December 12, 2013. In addition to her children, she is survived by her grandchildren Matthew Kautz and Rebeca Dass. Her great-grandchildren Judith Dass and Isaac Dass.
