Cirilo S. Lopez

Cirilo Lopez Serrano, 85 a native of San Miguel Alto, Jalisco Mexico and long time resident of Chula Vista passed away January 3, 2016. He was married to Josefina Lopez on October 6, 1949 and blessed with 66 years of happiness. Cirilo had a career as a chef in the restaurants industry with Nordic Inn. He was a member of Adoracion Nocturna, Guadalupano and enjoyed going to San Diego Padres games and when he wasn't able to make them liked watching them on TV. He is survived by his loving wife Josefina and beloved children Maria Robledo, Maria Herrera, Jose Luis Lopez, Alfredo Lopez, David Lopez. 14 Grandchildren, 20 Great Grandchildren and brothers Sixto and Valente Lopez. He was preceded in death by his son Matias Lopez.

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 13th from 5pm to 9pm in the Serenity Chapel with Recitation of the Rosary at 7pm at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated Thursday, January 14th at 12:30pm at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 345 Anita Street, Chula Vista CA 91911. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery, 4470 Hilltop Dr. San Diego, CA 92102.
