Ignacio "Nacho" Mejia Garcia

Ignacio Mejia Garcia, 52 years of age, of Lakeside, California, passed away suddenly on June, 26, 2014. He was born in Boquillas, Abasolo, Guanajuato, Mexico on November 12, 1961. Ignacio studied in Mexico and completed his "Preparatoria" school courses. On April 1, 2000, he married Maria Matilde

Tabullo Castro. They were blessed with two children, son Manuel Garcia Tabullo and daughter Rosa Maria Garcia. Additionally, he is survived by three sisters; Lucia Garcia, Ernestina Garcia and Martha Garcia and five brothers; Antonio Garcia, Juan Garcia, Jose Garcia, Alberto Garcia and Marsed Garcia.

Ignacio worked in the food industry for "Lakeside Bakery Supplies Incorporated" . He was a devout member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church, where he and Maria Matilde were married. Ignacio had a passion for gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with his family and friends. Ignacio will be remembered for his dedication to his family and hard work ethic.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 3, 2014 at Holy Trinity Church at 405 Ballard Street, El Cajon, CA 92019 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. A funeral mass will follow at 6 p.m. at Holy Trinity Church.
