James “Jimmy” Fitzgerald, 73, of Chula Vista passed away Friday night. He was born in Bronx, NY, raised in Imperial Beach and graduated from Mar Vista High School. Jimmy worked for the Department of the Navy at North Island and retired after 42 years of service. During that time he married his wife, Margie and raised 5 children. Survivors include daughters, Danesha Biddle of Canyon Hills, Heidi Kleckley of Corona, and Mariah Mullen of Maryland; sons, Scott and Ryan, both of Chula Vista; brothers, Walter of Texas, and Edmund of Washington; 10 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.
