the BonitaView Hospice Home, Bonita, California. He was surrounded and comforted by many who loved him.
The loss of Jose greatly impacts us all.
We will be having a private ceremony for him
on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at 11am.
Jose brought light to many as a very hardworking and talented electrician for over 15 years. He had a passion for leading his team, mentoring others, and providing quality work all over Southern California.
We find comfort in knowing he spent his life doing what he loved. His tools remained on his belt even on his very last day.
His loved ones will remember him for his passionate nature; they will forever be inspired by his resiliency through a long illness, and will reminisce on his smile and warmth at the very end.
We lament the memories we could have made with him, but we find hope in our Lord, that he has found the peace that he sought on this earth.
Jose was a beloved husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Michell Castro, his children Jose (Zorida) Castro Jr and Rachell (Brandon) Brown and his granddaughter Marina Castro.
Matthew 11:28 "Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
A Celebration of Life will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Chula Vista, Rose Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910.
