Juan M. Guerrero was born on March 29, 1935 in Tecolotlan Jalisco. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, Juan was a man whose life was marked by hard work, dedication, and an unwavering love for his family.
In the early 70’s Juan brought his family to the United States to give his family a better life. Juan spent much of his life as a farmer and a skilled machinery worker. He worked tirelessly to provide for his family. His hands were always busy, whether working the fields during his younger years or machinery. He earned the respect of all who knew him for his knowledge, work ethic, and ingenuity. He was a man of character, yet so lovable.
In addition to his dedication in being a hard worker, Juan found joy in the simple pleasures of life, he particularly enjoyed watching some boxing events on TV along with Sunday family gatherings. He loved watching boxing matches and was often found surrounded by family, enjoying the camaraderie and laughter that came with the weekly gatherings at his home or at the beach while cooking up some Carnitas or a little Carne Asada. His family was everything to him, and he cherished every moment spent with them.
Juan was the proud father of 10 children, 2 of whom have passed, Ricardo & Raul. He leaves behind 8 surviving children: Juan, Roberto, Ruben, Oscar, Alfredo, Hilda, Maria Luisa & Mirella. Juan taught his children to support and help one another. He was also the grandfather to 40 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in his heart.
Juan was survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, who will carry on his legacy of love, faith, and dedication. He will now be reunited with his two sons Ricardo and Raul along with the love of his life Maria de Jesus.
Juan was a warrior all the way until the end. He fought hard not to leave his children and family, but God called his name and at the blessed age of 89, he took his last breath with his children and extended family gathered TOGETHER just the way he always loved seeing them and how he would want them to always be.
Though he is no longer with us, the memory of Juan will live on through the generations of his family and in the many lives he touched. His legacy of hard work, family devotion, and love will never be forgotten.
