Louise B. Rehling was born in Detroit into a German immigrant family. She worked for General Motors for 45 years. After retiring and moving to Chula Vista, she worked 10 additional years for the city library's Literacy Team Center.
Louise traveled widely both before and after her retirement, always enjoying good company and new experiences.
Louise was predeceased by her beloved older brother Anthony M. (Tony) Rehling. She is survived by her sister-in-law Ann M. Rehling, her nephews Michael J. Rehling and Wood Rehling, her niece Louise A. Rehling, and other family and friends.
An intelligent, kind, practical, independent, unassuming, fun, and interesting person, Louise was dearly loved and will be missed. A memorial for Louise will be held at 2 pm on Saturday, 21 April at Pacific Pointe Retirement Community at 171 4th Avenue in Chula Vista.
