Maria Anita H. Fernandez, 77 years old, of National City, passed away on December 19, 2015. She was born in Cavite City, Philippines on April 18, 1938. She married the love of her life, Dominador Fernandez and they were blessed with 53 years of marriage and 9 children.
Maria Anita was a member of the Good Samaritan Baptist Church. Her passion in life was to take care of her family and spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Maria is survived by her husband, Dominador and her children; Pernita Reese, (Rick Reese), Diana Corbett, (Paul Corbett), Dennis Fernandez, (Annie), Donald Fernandez, (Annie), Annalyn Fernandez, (Joy Vicente), Ariel Fernandez, (Lhen), Ferdie Fernandez, (Bel), Edward Fernandez, (Belen), and Brian Fernandez, (Anna). In addition, her legacy includes 30 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life and visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910 on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
