

Marjorie Ann Havey, 84, of Chula Vista, California passed away on June 9, 2013. She was born in Lancing, Michigan on July 24th, 1928 and was the second of three children. Marjorie was happily married to Lt. John Havey for 53 wonderful years. She was predeceased by her loving husband, infant son Mark Patrick, and her two sisters, Marilyn and Peggy. She is survived by her six children Susan Wiggins (Ben), Paula Grauer (Bruce), David Havey (Traci), Deborah Bowling (Tom), John Havey, and Steven Havey in addition to her seven grandchildren Mark, Melanie, David, Alexandria, Scott, Morgan, and Ryan, one great grandchild, Sandra and her beloved family dogs, Bodie, Sadie and Bessie. Marjorie was known for her gentle and kind nature as well as her love and passion for animals. She was the happiest with a dog in her lap and an extra hot double shot latte in her hand. She cherished her spice drops, Hershey chocolate bars, and her menagerie of mice collectibles. Her family will carry on her countless recipes and Christmas cookie baking tradition. A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June the 18th at 1:00 pm at Glen Abbey, Little Chapel of the Roses in Bonita, California.
