Martha Pineda, 67 years old, of National City, passed away November 8th, 2015 in Chula Vista, California. She was born in Palmilla, Mexico on April 6th, 1948. Martha Pineda graduated from Universidad de Guadalajara where she received a teaching credential.
She was married to Gabriel Pineda on July 10, 1972. Martha had a career in Labor Industry for Hyatt, Scientific Atlanta and Chicken of the Sea Cannery.
She was a long time member of St. Anthony's church, and had a passion for Knitting and attending church.
Martha is survived by her children Bernadette Escalona (Daughter), Veronica Pineda(Daughter), Daniel Munoz(Grandchild), Nayeli Escalona(Grandchild), Yoli Sanchez-Pineda (Grandchild), and Itzel Sanchez-Pineda (Grandchild).
A Celebration of Life and Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Humphrey located at 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, California 91910. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 10:00 am. at St Anthony Catholic Church in National City, CA. Final resting place will be at La Vista Memorial Park in National City, California 91950.
