He was born on August 24, 1930, in the city of Cavite Philippines, to Chi Chay Villegas and Enrique Del Rosario.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Olaes Del Rosario; his daughters, Annabell Mattox, Marybeth Duschane, Emiline Cajigal, Janet Redondo and Madeline Del Rosario; sons, Honrado and Eric Del Rosario; brother, Renato Del Rosario; 16 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
