

Pat began playing piano at age 8 and by age 11 was a concert pianist. She graduated from the Cosmopolitan School of Music at the University of Indiana with a Masters in Music in 1952. She taught piano for many years, and also worked at Inland Steel Co. in Indiana. Pat married the late Robert Boswell Stewart on November 9, 1957 in Highland Indiana, followed by a move to Lakewood, Colorado, where she played the organ at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church. After moving to Tacoma, Washington, she was the Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director at the Morgan Family YMCA for 18 years.
In addition to playing the piano, Pat enjoyed sewing, hiking and cross country skiing.
Pat lived at Paradise Village Retirement Community for the past 10 years, where she was a Charter Member. She was on the Golf Club and Resident Council, and enjoyed exploring San Diego. She enjoyed living closer to her daughters.
She is survived by her two daughters: Kerry (Mike) Emery, Coronado, CA and Amy (Mike) Dreyer, Danville, CA: three grandchildren: Nick, Bozeman, MT, Zack, Austin, TX and Haley, Seattle, WA and two canine grand babies, Brady and Kody.
A private family service was held. Donations may be sent to the Morgan Family YMCA in Tacoma, Washington.
