Paul was born December 14, 1931, in Jeannette, PA, and moved to Chula Vista, CA with other family members in the 1950's. Paul served two years (1955-1956) in the Army, stationed in Germany. He received his AA Degree from Southwestern Community College as a member of the "First" graduating class. He received his BA Teaching Degree from San Diego State University.
He was married to his wife Janet in 1971. He was a teacher at National School District for almost 30 years, retiring in 1985. In retirement Paul and Janet spent many wonderful years traveling across the United States in their RV.
Paul is survived by his wife Janet Raviart, daughter Sandra Raviart Tamanaha, grand-daughter Sarah Elizabeth Tamanaha, newphew Kenneth Duzyk, and cousin Bill Nemshack.
Those who have predeceased Paul are his mother Catherine Raviart, father Alphonse Raviart, sister Irene Duzyk, brother Richard Raviart, and son Lawrence Paul Raviart.
