Roderico Roca Ogapong Sr. passed away at the age of 89 years old in his home on Monday, July 27, 2015 with his family by his side. Roderico was born on September 2, 1925 in Cabancalan, Negros Occidental, Philippines to Venancio and Fausta Ogapong.. He is survived by his loving family wife Angelina, son Roderico Jr. (Venuslengrau)., daughters Alice(Bradley), Arlene and Anabel (Joel), grandchildren Roney, Ron, Bradley, Michelle, Mikel, Mae, Rose, Ramil, Ranny, Rikka, Raezza and Chanel. Roderico was preceded in death by his daughter Evelyn and son Roly.
Roderico was a very Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather and will be missed by all who knew him.
A viewing will take place on Monday, August 17th and Tuesday, August 18th from 5:00pm to 9:00pm in the Serenity Chapel and a Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, August 19th at 10:00am in the Serenity Chapel located at Funeraria del Angel Humphrey 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910. Military Honors will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, August 19th at Miramar National Cemetery: 5790 Noble Dr., San Diego CA, followed by a reception at Savory Buffet 7040 Miramar Rd., San Diego, CA 92121
