She was born in Auburn, Washington on July 31, 1916. She was married to Vincent Young on October 21, 1943. They spent 52 years together before Vincent’s passing in 1995.
Rose Mary was a graduate of The University of Washington, but spent most of her life as a housewife raising seven children. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Parish for over 59 years where she served in the Altar and Rosary Society. Rose Mary loved to entertain friends and family and was still playing bridge until a few months before her passing.
She is survived by six of her seven children, fifteen grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren. Her love and guidance will be missed by all.
A memorial mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2014 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Chula Vista.
