Ruben R. Lizarde

Nació en Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico el 21 de Junio del 1943.

Ruben se casó con Cecilia Gonzalez el 15 de Mayo del 1971. Tuvo un feliz matrimonio de 47 años

y la bendicion de cinco hijos.

Ruben dedicó su vida trabajando en jardineria y paisajismo.

Ruben tenia pasión por el fútbol, beisbol, y el boliche. Le encataba jugar y competir en todos los deportes. También le fascinaba jugar juegos de baraja y domino. Ruben era mas feliz cuando estaba rodeado de familares y amigos. Le encantaba pasar tiempo de calidad con su esposa, hijos, yernos, nuera, y nietos. Ruben gozaba salir a cenar sus comidas favoritas que eran el bistek ranchero y los camarones. En casa, disfrutaba mucho mirar peliculas de Cantinflas y Pedro Infante.

Lo sobreviven su esposa Cecila, sus hijos Erika Lizardi ( José Manuel Valerio), Karla Lizardi (Carlos Cabrera). Monica Lizardi (Nestor Ramirez), Angelica Lizardi, y Luis Ruben Lizardi (Crystal Del Valle) y sus nietos Aleks Monge, Carolina Cabrera, Julia Cabrera, Sofia Cabrera, y Mia Guillen. Tambien sus hermanos Carmen Rios, Rosa Santana, Yolanda Herrera, Sandra Cooper, Ramón Lizarde, y Enrique Lizarde.

Servicios funerarios se darán acabo de 5pm a 9pm el Viernes, 11 de enero, 2018 en la Funeraria Del Angel, Capilla de Serenidad, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA 91910.

Ruben R. Lizarde, 75 years old, of Chula Vista, California passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Ruben was the third of eight children born to parents Alejo and Taurina

Lizarde in Yahualica, Jalisco, Mexico.

Ruben married Cecilia Gonzalez on May 15, 1971. They were blessed with 47 years of marriage and

five children.

Ruben dedicated his life working in Landscaping with Park Palomar Apartments and Green Thumb Nursery.

Ruben's passions were playing baseball, soccer and bowling. He enjoyed competing in these sports,

entering tournaments and winning cash prizes. He also enjoyed playing card games and dominos.

Ruben was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. He loved having quality time with his spouse Cecilia, his grown children, their spouses and the grandchildren. Ruben enjoyed going out to dinner, his favorites were steak ranchero and shrimp. When relaxing at home, he enjoyed watching movies of Cantiflas and Pedro Infante. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Ruben is survived by his spouse Cecilia, his children; Erika Lizardi, (Jose Manuel Valerio), Karla Lizarde,

(Carlos Cabrera), Monica Lizardi, (Nestor Ramirez), Angelica Lizardi and Luis Ruben Lizardi, (Crystal Del

Valle). His legacy includes five grandchildren; Aleks Monge, Carolina Cabrera, Julia Cabrera, Sofia Cabrera and Mia Guillen.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Funeraria

Del Angel, Serenity Chapel, 753 Broadway, Chula Vista, CA. 91910.
